We partner with organisations to design and deliver workforce transformation projects. From focused service reviews to large-scale transformation programmes, we provide end-to-end consultancy support tailored to your needs. Every project is different and sometimes clients need support to define the scope, scale and type of project you are hoping to deliver. We have outlined the types of projects we typically support through consultancy delivery:
Small project: focused support for a clearly defined challenge
A small project typically focuses on a single team or service where the challenge and scope are relatively well defined. We provide targeted expertise to help you understand an issue, strengthen an approach or develop a practical way forward. This is likely to include light-touch evidence gathering and stakeholder engagement and has a limited requirement for complex data analysis or modelling. For example: supporting a clinical service to review how work is organised following the introduction of a new digital process, gathering insight from the team and identifying opportunities to improve roles, responsibilities and ways of working.
Medium project: bringing together evidence and perspectives across teams or services
A medium project typically involves two or more teams or services and requires us to bring together multiple sources of evidence. We might combine data and research with staff and stakeholder insights to understand what is happening, identify opportunities and translate the evidence into practical recommendations or designs. For example: working across several services within an organisation to understand workforce challenges along a service user pathway, bringing together workforce data, staff experiences, existing research and stakeholder perspectives to develop recommendations for future workforce design.
Large project: complex workforce transformation across organisations or systems
Large projects tackle complex, interconnected challenges that span multiple services, pathways or organisations. These programmes can bring together senior leaders, partners, professionals and people delivering and using services to understand the current system and collaboratively design sustainable change. For example: working with multiple organisations across an integrated care system to understand how a workforce and service pathway needs to evolve, developing an evidence-informed future workforce model and supporting partners to translate this into implementation.
